Sporting Honours at Kearsley Academy

At Kearsley Academy we want all of our students to achieve success in everything they do, whether in academia or practical environments or even both!

Building on our success in sport at Kearsley, we have students who have been extremely successful for their clubs in a range of fantastic sports and we are PROUD to raise the profile of our amazing students. Our students have represented Bolton, Lancashire and even represented England in their early sporting careers and these students have shown a great enthusiasm of their passion for sport in PE at Kearsley.

Year 9 student, Isaac has incredible talents at Trampoline. Isaac has consistently competed at regional and national events for a long period of time and has been hugely successful. The dedication that Isaac has shown has spurred other students on to achieve their best in sport as well as encouraging other students to try out something new.

Holly, our year 9 student, has represented Bolton at Gymnastics in other countries and has been incredibly successful. Competing against 20 other athletes across various gymnastic events was an experience Holly will never forget especially winning all those medals and certificates.

Kyle has competed at national level at Karate. Following the trend of other successful year 9 students, Kyle has won numerous medals in his specialist sport and is looking to win more in years to come.

Our year 7 student Lucas has an incredible passion for Rugby and was awarded the ‘Man of Steel’ due to his perseverance, attitude, endeavour and application in Rugby matches for his club. We are thrilled that Lucas carries his enthusiasm for sport in PE and gives it everything to be as successful as possible.

Lastly, Bryn, a year 9 student who has represented Kearsley Academy across numerous sports has an excellent future in sport. Bryn has represented Lancashire as well as competing at National and International level at Road Cycling. His dedication to the sport is certainly to be admired and this commitment is certainly promoting Bryn as a positive role model for other students to look up to.

A HUGE congratulations to all of our students on their sporting achievements and we wish all the success to our students in their chosen sports.
