Year 11 College Interviews underway at Kearsley Academy

This Friday 18th January 2020 at Kearsley Academy, we hosted our first college interviews of the year led by Clare Jolly, a representative from Salford City College. We are extremely proud of our pupils who participated and we wish them all the best for their future in their chosen colleges. We are delighted that 12 pupils were offered a place on their chosen course. We would like to extend our gratitude to Clare for hosting these and future interviews as we recognise the positive impact that is achieved from such an opportunity.

We are also proud at Kearsley Academy of our growing Careers Programme that aims to enable our pupils with the knowledge to be able to make informed decisions about their future and Post-16 pathway. We encourage pupils and parents/carers from all year groups to attend our next Careers Fair on Wednesday 12th February 2020, where we will host a variety of Employers as well as other Post-16 Providers, allowing pupils to receive face to face advice and information. Finer details of the event will be communicated next week.

Kearsley Academy is a member of the Northern Education Trust.
We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care.

Children/families entitled to Free School Meals will now receive an electronic voucher instead, from this Friday, 3 April.
