Sporting Enrichment – Bowling

On Thursday 13th February 2020, Kearsley Academy were invited to a Bowling Trip organised by Panathlon at the Hollywood Bowl, Middlebrook. A range of students selected from Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 represented our school and competed against 23 other schools.

Our students started off the event emphatically managing to consistently knock over 9 or 10 pins giving Kearsley Academy a great start in the event. During the bowling our students implemented a variety of techniques and coached each other to better each other and the team. Eventually our students collectively knocked over a mightily impressive 480 pins and were awarded 4th place overall! Certificates and medals were rewarded to all our representatives – congratulations everyone!

A huge thank you to Panathlon and the Bolton Wanderers Community Trust for hosting a great event! We are looking forward to the next competition!
